With a 180 degree angle aircraft corner radius designed to create holes which accommodate standard aircraft fittings, 4706 union butterfield short series counterbores have a hole to accept pilots with a range of sizes (see 4704) and can be used in cnc and conventional machines. They are made from high speed steel so are suitable to machine counterbores in many materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and have a bright finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting surfaces for clean and accurate results.
