Containing 29 screw machine length drill bits, the c29r40c set consists of r40c drill bits in sizes from 1/64” up to 1/2″ in 1/64” increments. The r40c drills are made from high speed steel, suitable for drilling many materials including steel, aluminum and stainless steel, and can be used in many different hand held and machine applications. With a 135 degree split point to reduce the push force needed and for great self-centering – no more wandering all over the surface of the workpiece, the r40c screw machine length drill bits also have a steam oxide finish, which will promote clean and accurate holes by preventing the workpiece material from sticking to the cutting surfaces of the drills.
