Ts55co national aerospace standard letter sized drills from precision are manufactured from premium high speed cobalt, best used for drilling tough materials including stainless steel and titanium, with a steam oxide finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting surfaces of the tool for more accurate holes. The 135 degree split point is an aid to self-centering when drilling by hand and reduces the push force needed, whilst the long tool length makes it great for drilling in confined areas. Ts55co drills have square threaded shanks, designed to fit right angle drilling heads.
