Manufactured with a straight shank and square drive for hand held reaming with a suitable wrench, ub 4591 taper pin reamers have a 1/4 inch in one foot taper, designed to finish tapered holes to accept standard taper pins. They are made from high speed steel so can be used for reaming many materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and have a left hand spiral flute which is precision ground for smooth reaming, improving hole size and surface finish. For easy location and centering, 4591 taper pin reamers have a reduced small diameter, which improves accuracy and performance.
